Hello, my name is Leann and I’ve been with my partner Ashley for over 14 years. For as long as I can remember, I have wanted to be pregnant and carry my own baby. Being in a same sex relationship, there are challenges that come with having a baby the high cost and stress of fertility treatment. Sadly, our health insurance does not cover any form of fertility treatment, and this cost is all out of pocket for us. The ideal goal would be to go the IVF route with the chances of success being higher, however this form of treatment is very expensive in California and financially we are unable do that on our own. The alternative for us would be going the IUI route, which is slightly more affordable, but is still financially hard on us. My heart longs to carry a baby and have that connection with the process of having a baby, and I think everyone should have the opportunity to experience this if they chose to. So, I am here asking for your help. This is a very hard decision to ask others for help, but If you could find it in your heart to help my family in anyway, I would forever be greatful for your kindness and generosity.
